Contract 1 – Offsite Gravity Sewer and Force Main Construction The work shall consist of, but shall not be limited to, the following: Furnishing and installing approximately 778 linear feet of 12-inch C-900 PVC forcemain and fittings Furnishing and installing approximately 2,428 linear feet of 8-inch C-900 PVC forcemain and fittings Furnishing and installing approximately 691 linear feet of 3-inch SDR-21 forcemain and fittings Furnishing and installing approximately 2,252 linear feet of 16-inch gravity sewer Furnishing and installing approximately 780 linear feet of 12-inch gravity sewer Furnishing and installing 23 precast concrete manholes Boring and jacking 181 LF of 24” diameter steel casing One stream crossing Connections to existing manholes with new gravity sewer lines Connections to existing force mains with new force mains Testing of all installed piping Clearing of easement Installation and maintenance of erosion control measures Traffic control and signs Demolition of Garrison Pump Station Clean up, finish grading of disturbed areas, and seeding of all disturbed areas as required to fully restore the site to a condition equal to its pre-construction condition Contract 2 – Basal Creek Pump Station Capacity Expansion The work shall consist of, but shall not be limited to, the following: Furnishing and installing two 115 HP submersible wastewater pumps and associated accessories Turn over a third 115 HP submersible wastewater pump to the TOHS Public Works Department Remove the existing installed submersible wastewater pumps and turn them over to the TOHS Public Works Department Furnishing and installing new diesel fueled standby power generator with integral fuel tank, accessories, and concrete base slab Remove the existing standby power generator and concrete base slab, and turn the generator over to the TOHS Public Works Department Furnishing and installing two Reduced Voltage Solid State starters Furnishing and installing two 400A – 3P Main circuit breakers (for Utility service and generator service) Furnishing and installing one 225A – 3P circuit breaker, replacing an existing 200A circuit breaker Furnishing and installing two 200A – 3P safety switches Furnishing and installing a precast concrete transformer pad with pit for a 500 KVA pad mounted transformer, per the requirements of Duke Energy Progress Scheduling the construction sequence as required to maintain the pump station operation and to maintain standby power generator service Coordination of switchovers and power outages with the Town of Holly Springs Public Works staff and Duke Energy Progress Furnishing and installing all temporary and permanent wiring and conduit shown on the construction plans Removing existing conduit, wiring, breakers, and other equipment as noted on the construction plans Furnishing and installing all control conduit and wiring, and making terminations in the SCADA and Pump Station Control Panel Testing and start-up of all equipment Clean up, finish grading of disturbed areas, and seeding of all disturbed areas
