All bids should be submitted to our office via email or fax no later than 2:00pm Wednesday, July 25, 2018. If you have any questions please email or call. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held in Room 206, Alleghany Center, 115 Atwood Street, Sparta, NC, today at 3:00pm.

 

The construction consists of a new educational facility on the campus of Wilkes Community College-Alleghany Center in Sparta, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a one story metal building to be approximately 2,400 square feet for a welding and diesel lab educational facility. The improvements shall include cast-in-place concrete, cold-formed metal framing, insulation, joint sealants, wood doors, overhead coiling doors, glazing, gypsum drywall, tile, ACT, resilient base, painting, signage, toilet accessories, specialties, awnings, metal building systems, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.  The site work shall consist of earthwork, erosion control, storm drainage, concrete sidewalks, asphalt paving, and reseeding disturbed areas.
